SampleTank can be pulled up as a plugin on my Mac OS software (ProToos, Digital Performer, etc) but there are no sounds listed.
Sometimes Sampletank needs to be “pointed” to its instruments folder. With a SampleTank instrument plugin open. Look for the PREFS button on the right side of the window. This will open a small grey preferences window. The top option “ROOT” will have a “BROWSE” button next to to it. Click BROWSE and you’ll get a Mac OS browser window which should show all your drives, files etc. Locate the folder named STInstruments, click once on it, then click the CHOOSE button at the bottom-right of the screen.
If you’re not sure where this STInstruments folder is, use the APPLE-F to bring up the Mac OS finder window and search for either “STInst…” or “ST2…” This should help you locate where this insruments folder is located.
