Burning image files with Toast.
“I’m using Toast to burn sample CDs. Other users have told me to transfer disk images I’ve made directly to my CDs using the “Disc Image” (Ed – see Image Copy or Image File in WFTD archives) selection in the Toast format menu. For some strange reason this selection does not exist in my version of Toast 4.1. I checked with other Toast 4.1 users and they all seem to have the ‘”Disc Image” selection. What am I doing wrong?”This is one of the irritating things about having so many versions of each piece of software on the market. It sounds like you’re using the “Standard” version of Toast, which doesn’t have the ‘disc image’ feature available. This is only available in the “Deluxe” version of Toast (now Toast 5 Titanium). The standard version is often what comes bundled with CD burners, and of course the idea is to get you to upgrade to the deluxe version.
