When you bounce to disc using digital performer under MAS it creates 2 mono files.

Toast only works with “single” files, like mono files, or interleaved files (interleaved stereo SDII, AIFF, etc). If you drag a split stereo file (audio-1.L & audio-1.R) they will play one after the other.

Here’s how to fix that in DP:
– after bouncing the stereo file (two mono SDII files get created), click the file name in the Soundbites window, so that it is highlighted.
– from the Soundbites mini-menu, choose Export Selected bites.
– choose a destination (hard drive and/or folder) for the exported file & a new name if you like.
THEN select one of the following in the FORMAT field: Interleaved SDII, AIFF, windows WAV. (Interleaved SDII is recommended)
