Why won’t my Bias Soundsoap for Windows XP let me open .WAV files – the menus are all greyed out?
This is likely due to the extension “.WAV” (in capital letters instead of lower-case). To correct the issue, rename the file extension to “.wav” in lower case.
To see the extensions, you may need to disable “hide extensions for known file type” in the folder options menu.
In Windows XP, you can do this by going to Tools – Folder Options – View, and uncheck Hide File Extensions for Known File Types.
