Audition (Cool Edit) cannot address multi I/O of MOTU 896HD, 896, 2408MKIII
In the MOTU FW Console (under the General Tab) make sure that you have the Enable Full Wave Support for legacy (MME) software checked. Also make sure that you have the Enable Multi Channel Wave Sync option checked. Restart your computer and launch Adobe Audition. Reselect the MOTU driver and then check the available inputs and outputs.
