Audinate Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started

This guide will show you how to activate and access your Audinate software. To continue, follow the sections below.  

1. Audinate Account
   • Sign in with an Existing Audinate Account
   • Create a New Audinate Account

Audinate Account

Dante software requires an Audinate account. If you already have an account and want to register your new software to that account, please verify your login before proceeding. Most users will only have one account, but in some cases, you may create another account to distinguish different locations, users, etc. 

IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing your account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account login.    

Sign in with an Existing Audinate Account

1. Go to the My Account page.  
2. Enter your current login and click Log in.  
3. Verify that your current products are registered to the current account. 

Create a New Audinate Account

1. Go to the Register page. 
2. Complete the form, then click Create new account. 
3. Sign in using your new login to verify your account.

DVS Token

Sweetwater has emailed you the token to activate your software. Open the email, find the token, and follow the steps below to register.  

Redeem Token

1. Go to the Redeem Token page.  
2. Verify that you are logged in with your current Audinate account.  
3. Enter your token and click Submit.

Download and Install

Audinate Dante software is downloaded from each app’s respective download page (below). 

Dante Virtual Soundcard

1. Go to the Downloads page.  
2. Click your product’s download button that is compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer. 
   • PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, and click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions. 

Dante Controller

1. Go to the Downloads page.  
2. Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer. 
   • PC: Right-click the .zip file, select Extract all…, and click Extract. In the new folder, double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.

License ID

Once downloaded and installed, Audinate Dante software is activated by entering your License ID into the app.   

Activate License ID

1. Copy your product’s License ID from your My Products page.  
2. Open your Dante app. Paste the License ID into your Dante app’s licensing screen. 
3. Your software is now fully activated.
