When I attempt to launch Pro Tools LE in Mac OSX I get the message, “File or folder not found -43 when opening protools.vdb”
Moving the application “Pro Tools LE 6.x” (6.7, 6.9, etc) out of it’s original location to the desktop or elsewhere can cause this problem. Be sure to keep the Pro Tools application located inside the Macintosh HD > Applications > Digidesign > Protools.
If you want a shortcut on your desktop, single click the application, and choose Make Alias from the FILE menu. Then drag the resulting “Pro Tools LE 6.x Alias” to your desired location.
