After being idle for a little while, my Aardvark card quits working in Windows 2000 and XP and the PCI Bus efficiency drops from 90% to 0%. What can I do to fix this?
This is a current known bug with the first release of the Windows 2000 / XP Aardvark and Soundblaster drivers. Aardvark is working on the fix, and should be out late May of 2002 or early June 2002. Check their website for this update at http://www.aardvarkaudio.com. The temporary fix is to remove or disable your Soundblaster card because it is a conflict between the drivers of the two audio cards.
