How do I add contacts to my iPod?
iPod can store up to 1000 contacts right alongside your music. Mac OS X Address Book, Microsoft Entourage, and Palm Desktop can all export their contacts as industry-standard “vCards.” (2) After enabling FireWire disk mode, simply double-click the iPod icon on your desktop and drag these vCards into the iPod Contacts folder. They are automatically downloaded to your iPod. Other applications that support industry-standard vCards may work too. You can view names, phone numbers, and addresses by selecting Contacts from the main menu on your iPod and scrolling down your list of names until you find the one you’re looking for.
