Barkley’s Verdot Gran Reserve Mouthpiece
The Barkley Verdot Gran Reserve metal saxophone mouthpiece is designed to accentuate the treble. It also produces a robust low end to balance out the sound, making it ideal for various contemporary genres. You’ll be delighted to find that the Verdot gives you firm control over the entire range of your horn, which is rather unique for a metal mouthpiece. Precision manufactured from a premium metal formulation using state-of-the-art CNC technology, the Verdot Gran Reserve features a concave baffle that starts right after the tip rail and favors the passage of bass frequencies. This is followed by a fusion with a step baffle that generates a balance of lows and highs. The air then passes across a ladder-shaped floor where the frequencies are mixed and equalized to deliver a beautifully balanced sound.
