Channel the dominance of #7’s everyday axe
The MT-1’s white-ash-topped mahogany body does Mick’s groove-based metal melodics justice, supplying both a comfortable playing field for expert navigation onstage and the potency and resonance expected in a high-performance instrument. Apart from harnessing Mick’s deep rhythmic potential, the MT-1 comes equipped with a signature finish and black hardware, ensuring every aspect of #7’s onstage aesthetics is fully replicated. Whether you’re an age-old fan of Mick’s heavy-hitting, groovy character or are searching for an axe to cure your longing for pure metal mayhem, the MT-1 cannot be passed up.
No detail left behind
Looking at the MT-1 and Mick’s personal axe side by side, Sweetwater guitarists are certain that the ESP LTD MT-1 does not leave out any detail, from a Hipshot High Mass bridge to the fretboard’s blue Luminlay dot-style side markers. Up top, Hipshot locking open-gear tuners and a TUSQ XL nut keep intonation stable, allowing you to lock in and bend toward your own nu-metal spirit with the assurance that you’ll always remain in tune. Further down, the MT-1’s 3-piece maple neck features a Thin-U profile and a deluxe satin finish, ensuring that you can make lightning-fast changes up and down the fretboard as easily as #7 himself.
Summon Mick’s iconic metal tone
