At last!!!!!!

All right - we know this is an expensive stand. But why put a $1200 microphone in jeopardy with a flimsy, cheap stand. This stand is incredible! Once you engage all the clamps - nothing moves. Nothing. I've never experienced such rock-solid mic placement before. Especially nice for those applications where there is little or no wiggle room. I'm buying another one.

My favorite piece of gear--ever!

I own 4 Latch Lake Mic King 2200 stands. They were my favorite pieces of gear in my recording studio. Now this tripod stand wins the prize! Pair it with the Latch Lake Xtra Boom and it will blow your mind. Forget about those Ultimate Support studio rolling stand. I own two, and they are terribly frustrating.Latch Lake really killed it when they came up with this stand. Expensive, and worth every penny.

Latchlake is the best company out there as far as mic stands go. I also opted for the spin grip attachment and it just completes this already perfect mic stand. Now I don't have to worry about putting up my r44! And the main reason why I decided for the 1100 over the 2200 is portability. While it is still pretty heavy, it can still fold up and fit in the back of my car when I need to do location recording! This will be perfect for the drum recording we do in old churches, because I love to get the mic high but always am worried about it tipping, but that will not be the case with this guy.

I was always a little nervous attaching my nice condensers to a flimsy stand so I bought this. It weighs in at about 22lbs and is incredibly solid. I was expecting to be impressed given the price but it exceeded my already lofty expectations. I could probably do pull-ups hanging off this thing....

Great stand

Heavy, solid, reliable, easily adjustable. If you've ever been nervous about putting a $5K mic on a $100 stand this is the answer. I couldn't be happier.
