An LTD with Contemporary Looks and Classic Tones
Combining classic single-cut style with contemporary playability, the ESP LTD EC-1000 Duncan is primed for performance. Its mahogany single-cut body unleashes truckloads of resonance and sustain upon your amp of choice, while its set-through, Thin U mahogany neck ensures optimal speed and precision. Its feisty tone is full of power, served up by Seymour Duncan JB and '59 humbuckers (with a push-pull Tone control for a range of single-coil tones, too). From modern metal to classic rock, this solidbody electric guitar has you covered for a wide range of musical styles. Furthermore, the EC-1000 features a TonePros locking TOM-style bridge/tailpiece and locking LTD tuners to give you roadworthy stability. Factor in a modern-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and the ESP LTD EC-1000 Duncan has all your bases covered from high-gain chugs to creamy classic solos.
Note: This is a Dent and Scratch model, which means we have inspected the instrument for structural issues, but there could be minor cosmetic flaws present that do not affect playability. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer if you have any questions.

Single-cut body style blends classic looks with modern performance
Nothing screams hard-rock like ESP's LTD Eclipse body style. The extra mass of this single-cutaway design gives the LTD EC-1000 epic sustain, whereas its slightly arched top provides comfortable hand positioning no matter what your playing style. Add to that a super-sharp cutaway for access to all 24 frets, and you're equipped for all manner of rock, metal, and shred mayhem.
Powerful and aggressive tones from Seymour Duncan humbuckers
The combination of Seymour Duncan pickups in the ESP LTD EC-1000 gives you the perfect balance of tone shaping and sheer destructive power. The SD '59 neck pickup boasts the rumbling low-end sound you crave with a hint of high-end chime. The SD JB bridge pickup sharpens things up with a snarlingly aggressive attack that effortlessly cuts through just about any mix — all with complete tonal versatility, courtesy of the EC-1000's 3-way pickup selector switch with Tone and Volume controls. With this collaborative pickup duo, you have an ultra-powerful, intimidating sonic tonal palette that makes this axe sound just as great as it looks. Guitarists at Sweetwater agree: this pickup combination is primed for modern rock and metal.
TonePros bridge and LTD locking tuners
Players who are choosy about tuning, action, and intonation will delight in the LTD EC-1000's TOM-style TonePros bridge/tailpiece and locking LTD tuners. The TonePros is a common aftermarket upgrade on many single-cut guitars. Its six adjustable saddles provide precise intonation and enhanced sustain for chords and leads. At the other end of the guitar, a set of LTD locking tuners provides slip-free performance, for tuning stability you can depend on in the studio and onstage.
