The DEK-DM7-BR Broadcast Package unlocks your DM7 or DM5 for high-stakes broadcast work. It's a software license that adds broadcast-specific functions to DM7 and DM5 Series consoles, covering mix-minus feeds, loudness and peak program metering, audio-follow-video, broadcast cue and pre-fade listen (PFL) functions, and speaker and source selection. Sweetwater audio engineers note that Yamaha also has 5.1 surround slated for a future update, so a facility moving toward multichannel delivery has a path forward on the console it already owns. With the DEK-DM7-BR Broadcast Package, you can cover studio production, live sound, and on-air work all from the same surface.

Note: This product is intended for DM5 Series consoles and non-expanded DM7 Series systems, such as the DM7 or DM7C.
