Complex modulation is the key to vibrant, living synth sounds, and Z3TA+ 2 gives you some awesome tools including morphing LFOs. Each of the four LFOs can be set to one waveform, or two different waveforms that you can morph between. Used creatively, you can create synth sounds with a whole new dimension of expressiveness.

One of the quickest ways to get inspired and create new sounds with a synth is to take a simple oscillator and apply some waveshaping. Z3TA+ 2 has 16 powerful waveshapers, including Fold, which folds the oscillator waveform over itself by progressively swapping the left and right halves. You also get the Spectrum waveshaper, which causes harmonics to "wander around" in alternating directions, which creates an almost phaser-like sound. You can also randomize all harmonic levels, or just odd-order harmonic levels, to create rich textures you can't get with a filter or simple modulation.
