Great little keyboard

So glad I got this. The full sized keys and small size make it unique. Playability is not perfect, but very nice for the limited key travel. Sensitivity is nice. Bluetooth latency is just about unnoticeable. Glad I went with the 37 key over the 25. Works just great with my MacBookPro and MainStage. Less so with the iPad Air 2. The iPad can get over run and start creating seconds of latency (which clears up, but that's still no good). SO for now, this and the MacBook make a great combination.

Great Travel\Gigging Keyboard unlike any other.

I am happy with my purchase of my CME Xkey Air 37. It is going to be a vital part of my traveling music endeavors, and is a keyboard I can quickly grab and noodle around with provided i have my phone (as I usually do) or my iPad. At first, I was having a really hard time deciding if I wanted the bluetooth or non-bluetooth version. My brief experience with the non-bluetooth version you couldn't use any micro-usb other than the one provided and even then you had to be careful with the connection or risk breaking the connector on the keyboard itself rendering the product useless. The location on this keyboard gives you more room and a regular micro-USB cable will fit. Also, having both the 2 year manufacture warranty and a 2 year warranty from sweetwater, plus the fact that this keyboard seems more likely to last in the long run, I think it was a good choice. On the keyboard itself you will most likely need to adjust the aftertouch curves to you liking, the keys feel great after a day or two of getting used to the lack of depth on of the keys, the spacing feels natural if you are used to full sized keys, they seem responsive for what i've tried with it so far. The bluetooth connection has been mostly great. You may find it necessary to tweak your system to the lowest latency possible to compensate for the slight amount of latency added when using this product wireless. I tend to play fast and sometimes rhythmic or with lots of busy notes. So, I do notice some latency if I don't configure the system for as low as possible. It becomes more of a problem if you are playing quiet and can hear the clicky keys slightly before what you are actually playing. So, just adjust your system accordingly or use the USB connection in these situations. The biggest downside to this one for me, compared to the non-bluetooth version, is that there is no breakout cable option for 5-pin MIDI, sustain pedal, and expression pedal input. I realize they may have not included it because it's wireless so why would you want cords coming out of it, but the option would have really been nice. And yeah, I'd rather have 4 octaves, even for travel. I don't know what people manage to do with the 2 octave keyboard, besides wish they had more notes and be glad it fits in their laptop bag. I've been using it with iPad Air 2 mostly, or sometimes my iPhone 6 and it works great. I just connect with the Xkey Plus app on iPad, and on my phone Korg's BLE MIDI works. I've already made this review a bit too long, but I hope it helps since I know it took me a while to find enough information to finally make a purchase.
