I bought this amp to power a pair of Cerwin-Vega XLS-215 monster speakers (four-way tower speakers with dual 15" woofers) for my otherwise-vintage home audio system in my large (1200 sq ft) unfinished basement. This combination does NOT disappoint! The sound is BIG and powerful! I can feel the bass in my chest. I've turned it up to as loud as I dare, and I can tell this amplifier can still deliver a lot more!

WOW! I'm very pleased!

I just sold 4 crown macro techs, which I consider to be the best sounding and hardest hitting amps ever made... but the weight is a widow maker and the people who used to repair them are living in under ground bunkers and very hard to find. I own a xls 2500 and this xli 2500. I run a 3 way mono system...18 sub B&C, 15 mid JBL and a 2 inch JBL driver with large horn. I'm trying to sound big but not loud..The xli 2500 is on sub duty at an easy 8 ohm load. I have a Roland electric drum kit so I tested this with the kick for the low end punch. I was happy with what I heard... better than the xls 2500. 4 stars for what I heard..I'm holding on to the other star for not knowing the future of this amps reliability. hope this helps

This unit is very solid, it replaced another high end brand being used for same purpose. This out performs by far, without intermittent or fan shut down or half over heating. It replaced what was my monitoring wedges 2 of them. With the onboard powered stuff, I dont need an amp so now it took the place of the other and I just use it to run my stereo. The crown lives up to its name. Raw power refined just a little.

Power amp failure at our venue before a service prompted a search in Minneapolis. Couldn't find an amp our size in stock. Called Sweetwater they had one in stock and they shipped same day. We got the amp the next afternoon. Amazing had it installed and tested out by the evening. Next day service went smoothly.
