Reviews

Best mixer in it's price range
I'm both a guitarist and streamer/content creator, and this little thing is the jam! I use this for my XLR mic line in, then send background music, sfx from VoiceMeeter, etc. from my PC to the xenyx and into my mix. The Line Input red button also acts as a mute for the mic, which is super handy for when I have a stream intermission or whatever. I also have my amp hooked up through RCA cables to line 2, which is great because I can leave my mic in and sing (or talk to chat) & play without having to unplug cables and stuff. I can also play along with a music video on guitar and listen to it all through my headphones at night, and have precision control. Plus, I get to use all my amp's effects without having yet another program bogging my PC down while streaming, which is important because even with dual monitors, screen real estate is scarce lol.
This little guy is USB powered (and full 48v phantom power; there's a couple of videos on YouTube of people testing with multimeters) which is awesome because you can take it pretty much anywhere. Wanna have a podcast at the park on your laptop? No problem. Ran out of plugs on your power strips in your bedroom/recording booth? Use your portable phone charger! Wanna blow the enemy teams' eardrums out on a whim when they're crying about getting beat in Call of Duty? Just reach over and scream to your heart's content! Haha

This product is amazing. I'll never get rid of it. I can't imagine how I'd get by without it. The only issue I've had so far is the hissing, which is the noise floor. Or, what I thought it was, at least. When using the Xenyx sans computer, there's absolutely zero noise. But when plugged in through USB to my PC, it's always there. Even with the XLR cable unplugged, gain and mic knobs turned all the way down (and even the mute button pressed!) I was still hearing the hiss. I thought it was line interference or something, but I found it was a Windows setting that was messing me up. I opened control panel, opened sound settings, found the Xenyx on the list of audio devices, and tabbed over to the Levels tab. Turned the volume down from 100 to 20. The hiss disappeared! Just had to adjust the mic volume and gain on the mixer, and now it's perfect. VoiceMeeter registers the noise floor now at -92db without any noise gate, which is better than a lot of professional recording studios. I can't really fault this device for that though, as it was a software issue.
Seriously, buy this right now. You won't regret it. The fact that it's under $100 is just icing on the cake.

Excellent sound quality.
I host a local community radio show on Radio Hatteras.
Purchased the Beringer Xenyx 302USB mixer to replace a low quality mixer that had a constant low level background hiss.
The 302USB mixer has professional high quality output free of any background noise.
Highly recommend this mixer.
Perfect for my needs!
I purchased this mixer to provide much-needed EQ for my virtual pipe organ (VPO.) At home the balance is perfect through my headphones, but shrill when I play through my JBL monitors in the sanctuary of my church. It's the monitors in that environment, not the VPO, because my Nord Electro 6D has the same issue; however, the Nord has built-in EQ. I was very pleased to find that I can use the variable 'phones output into a Bluetooth transmitter to supply signal to my large subwoofer in our balcony. Going on 2 years owning this mixer, it was and still is a home run for me.

I'm utilizing this mixer as an audio interface for my MacMini. Better quality sound than the "Audio Out" . Plus I have more control with the audio portion when converting analog video to digital while using a USB video interface.
Excellent product for the price
Honestly, for the price, it's an excellent product with a minimum investment.
I use it at home as a mini mixer for my organ with ipad when I want to practice with my headphones. Also for my son is using it with his condenser microphone (48v phantom integrated) to record on his Ipad.

So I confirm, the mixer it's recognized by the Ipad, but via a powered usb hub to provide adaquate power and then go out into the Apple a/v lightning adaptor. It works no problem.
