Juice Your Rig with a Serious Wah/Filter Pedal

The Sonuus Wahoo dual-analog wah/filter pedal lets you configure each filter as a lowpass or bandpass and operate them independently in wah, envelope, LFO, or pitch-tracking modes. Wahoo's fully analog signal path is digitally controlled to give you the utmost precision and configurability. This opens you up to cool things like pitch and frequency tracking that let you have your filter open up as you bend notes on your guitar or play higher on your keyboard. Whether you're into recreating the vibe of vintage pedals or forging new sonic frontiers, the Sonuus Wahoo can do it.

Sonuus Wahoo Wah/Filter Pedal at a Glance:

  • Warm, organic tone

  • Conjure the sonic character of vintage and modern wah/filter pedals
  • Built for performance
Warm, organic tone

The Sonuus Wahoo analog filters are based on vintage synth filter topology, giving you scrumptiously warm tone with an organic vibe. Might as well face it, you're just not going to get that with digital effects. One of the things we crave about analog is the way it responds to being driven hard. You'll be happy to know that Wahoo sports a Drive control that lets you mildly overdrive the filters to jack up the warmth, or totally crank it to generate classic fuzz-wah tones.

Conjure the sonic character of vintage and modern wah/filter pedals

The filters in the Sonuus Wahoo sport a wide frequency range of 10Hz-4kHz, as well as a broad resonance range from flat, full-out to self-oscillation. What's more, resonance isn't fixed, and you can set it to dynamically track the cutoff frequency (you can see how this presents amazingly creative possibilities). Combine this with Drive, response curves, and variable-envelope filter attack/decay, and you can handily conjure the sonic character of quite a few vintage and modern wah/filter units.

Built for performance

As well as being at home in the studio (or, um, at home), Wahoo has special features that make it an ideal tone partner onstage. Wahoo's roadworthy lightweight aluminium chassis and high-quality, cutting-edge electronics will stand up to the rigors of the toughest tour schedule. You can easily read the large, bright display during outdoor gigs, but you can dim it for use on dark stages.

Jam packed pedal

I've been using this pedal for awhile now and this is my second review. I'm am still getting impressed how awesome this thing is. Ive be do a few umphrey's Mcgee covers with this and I am able to simulate the same tone as high end Moogerfooger pedals. I just keep loving this pedal more everyday.

Sonuus got this o-so-right!!!

This pedal is an outstanding piece of engineering. There is so much you can accomplish with this pedal. First off the wah is sublime and you can adjust the highs and lows to really customize the tone if you so desire. The LFO is outstanding and clipping is superb. The envelope filter is also a total knock out. For a company that isn't known for making effects they did this perfect. This pedal is scary good. I really hope to see sonuus make even more pedals.
