The Wallander Instruments Saxophones 1 virtual instrument gives you four very realistic and expressive saxaphone categories. The Saxophones 1 instrument uses modeling instead of sampling, giving you an incredibly flexible platform. A standard sax quartet is represented; soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones are included. This instrument provides a very dynamic and responsive playing experience, and parameter editing is incredibly easy. You get a library of templates and presets that let you put your own personal stamp on the Saxophones 1 instrument.

Built-in sequencer
Using the built-in sequencer in WIVI (Wallander Instruments Virtual Instruments), you can create advanced arpeggios, articulations and musical phrases in minutes. When playing a chord, the WIVI sequencer knows about all the keys you hold down. By changing colors of the notes in the sequencer, you can choose which key in the chord to use as the "base key" for that note. This way you can create advanced arpeggios and musical phrases based on - all - the keys you hold down. Each instrument in an ensemble can have its own unique sequence. By giving each instrument its own musical sequence, aligned to the chord you play, you can build big orchestral or experimental loops layer-by-layer.
Using WIVI's Templates and File Depository
WIVI Templates is a groundbreaking new way of editing instrument parameters. Templates are simple scripts which allow you to store and recall useful tweaks and parameter settings at any time. Tweaking knobs may be fun, but not very effective. Templates gives users a chance to take control over some of the most powerful features of WIVI, even as a complete novice. WIVI v2 comes with several powerful templates that automatically generate experimental instruments (such as random arpeggios, plucked instruments, pads and leads) from any acoustic WIVI instrument. The WI File Depository is an online database where users can download and share WIVI related files with other users around the world.
Anyone can browse the depository, listen to audio previews, read comments and view user ratings. You can also see what instruments are required to load a certain preset, so you know exactly what to purchase to get that precise sound.

WIVI Saxophones 1 is shipped with a library of presets and templates for you to use, but there is nothing stopping you from creating your own.
All included presets and templates were created with the WIVI player, and a simple text editor for editing templates. So the tools are there for you to create high quality loops, experimental instruments, unique key-switching schemes. In WIVI you have multiple environments to mix your instruments in - each room with its own unique acoustic properties.

Wivi automatically calculates proper acoustic properties for all your instruments, one-by-one. Every instrument gets its own unique sound, perfectly balanced and positioned in the mix.
Modeled, not sampled
Sampled instruments are often dependent on section samples. These are designed for unison playing, and cannot handle division/divisi when writing harmony. Each note you play will add a whole new section to the mix. With section samples the sound becomes thick and diffused, and the sound level increases as the voice count multiplies.
In WIVI all sections are built from solo instruments, and division is handled automatically when playing chords. You can create auto-dividing sections of any size, and even mix different types of instruments.
The result is a sound with much more clarity and gentleness, less exhaustive to the ear and more like the sound of a real orchestra.

Since WIVI doesn't require disk streaming or heaps of RAM, you can safely migrate parts of your template to WIVI instruments while your sampler can run at virtually full capacity in the background.
