Apollo 2 Cinematic Guitars
When it comes to cinematic guitar chroma, Vir2’s Apollo sound library is a must. Apollo 2 Cinematic Guitars captures lighting in a bottle once again with 36GB of new axe samples and hands-on atmosphere creation. With the option of assembling unique pads, swells, atmospheres, and more, you’ll have the ability to customize an arrangement of guitar samples to fit your specific needs. The Ambient Designer engine returns once again to help capture the essence of string soundscapes in an efficient manner.
MOJO 2 Horn Section
Bigger and badder than ever, MOJO2 is Vir2's most advanced instrument yet, building on the already advanced sampling and playability of the first version. They went back to the drawing board, fully redesigning the instrument and recording all brand-new samples. The result is the most flexible and innovative approach to pop, funk, jazz, and big band horns ever created in a virtual instrument with a superbly intuitive, but feature-packed interface. Designed for seamless integration with Native Instruments' Komplete Kontrol and Maschine, MOJO 2 Horn Section offers a unique hands-on playing experience that makes full use of all NKS-compatible hardware controls.
Acou6tics Acoustic Guitar
Vir2's Acou6tics virtual instrument makes writing realistic acoustic guitar parts in any style remarkably easy. At Sweetwater, we've gotten to play with a wide range of virtual guitar software, and few have struck the balance of articulation styles and ease of use Acou6tics offers. Whether you're writing a steel-string acoustic rhythm track or a fully embellished flamenco solo, Acou6tics lets you get results so realistic that even the most seasoned guitarist won't know you played it all with your keyboard controller. What's more, Vir2's Acou6tics includes ukulele, mandolin, and guitalele instruments as well.
Vital Series Mallets
Vir2 Vital Series Mallets gives you eight tuned percussion instruments — Marimba, Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Tubular Bells, Glass Marimba, Song Bells, Vibraphone, and Crotales — in one patch you can play, edit, and layer. The innovative interface puts all the control you need right at your fingertips, with no menus or patch banks to navigate. The instruments each feature their own control set consisting of Mallet Type (Soft, Medium Soft, Medium Hard, Hard, Rods, and Bow), Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Octave Remapping, ADSR, and Extended Range, which remaps the instrument's playable range by stretching the lowest and highest mapped samples from C0 to C7. In addition, you have Octave remapping, which lets you adjust each instrument's position of your keyboard up or down by two octaves. Vir2 recorded the instruments with meticulous attention to detail, and provide you with dry stereo samples with up to four velocity layers and five round robins per instrument.
MOJO Upright Bass
Enjoy lifelike upright bass samples from Vir2’s MOJO Upright Bass virtual instrument software. Within this software, you’ll be greeted by a 150-year-old double bass full of rich resonance. To bring this upright bass to life, the instrument was played by the skilled and acclaimed jazz bassist Stefan “Pista” Bartus. Together with a talented sampling team, everyone created an advanced double bass virtual instrument that’s ready to perform for jazz, rock, blues, rockabilly, and more. You’ll find that this is a detailed virtual instrument with up to six layers, eight round-robins, true legato, and an offering of included presets and MIDI grooves. With over 35GB of sampled content, you can take your upright bass performance to new heights.
Aura Atmospheric Drone Builder
The Aura: Atmospheric Drone Builder from Vir2 is an original and inspiring tool for quickly generating haunting drones and breathtaking atmospheres. Using a sample-based approach, Aura derives its distinctive sonic signature from its four blendable sound modules, which let you layer any of Aura’s 400-plus included pads, drones, and atmospheres — or even your own samples — and manipulate them with Aura’s vast offering of effects. Aura is made for artists across every level, with over 100 presets that promise instant gratification, as well as a deep set of controls for detail-obsessed sound designers. Composers and producers at Sweetwater have praised Aura for adding ear candy to songs, creating music cues for film and television, and adding ambience to narrative podcasts. Electri6ity
You're working on a piece of music that needs a guitar line, and everything is coming together except for one minor problem: it's the middle of the night and there's no guitar player you can turn to. You could try to play it yourself, but your guitar chops aren't really up to it, or you use a virtual instrument. That's why you need Vir2's Electri6ity, the guitar software instrument that gives you the musical results you need without forcing you the leave the comfort of your keyboard.
Phoenix Rise, Hit & Whoosh Builder
Set your cinematic landscapes ablaze with Vir2’s Phoenix: Rise, Hit & Whoosh Builder. With 700 production-ready sounds, over 150 custom presets, layering, and more, you’re set to create the most dramatic rises, impacts, and textures you can dream up. Vir2 started by gathering an immense array of live source recordings from pianos, strings, vocals, percussion, and many others – that means incredible movie-ready sounds at your disposal. At Sweetwater, we appreciate the hands-on control due to the seamless Komplete Kontrol and Maschine integration. All these features and more synthesize into a conflagration of engrossing timbres, rumbles, and crashes that’ll get a rise out of your audience every time.
