Compact Line Array with Massive Sound
The ViO L208 ticks all the boxes of what Sweetwater live sound engineers look for in a line array module for medium-to-large-sized indoor/outdoor applications. First, it delivers pristine audio on account of its all-neodymium components, 900W RMS Class D Digipro G4 amplifier, optimized front panel, 56-bit DSP with FIR filters, and ADC Floating technology. Second, it's easy to install and operate thanks to a 3-point integrated rigging system, remote control via RDNet protocol, and built-in inclinometer. Finally, it's all enclosed in a sturdy wooden housing with a polyurea coating and two rain covers that enable operation even in critical weather conditions. Additionally, the ViO L208 operates as a standalone module or can be used as a down-fill for dBTechnologies ViO L210 modules. Add it all up, and you've got one powerful and convenient 2-way active line array system.

Superb power and audio coverage
The ViO L208's 900W RMS Class D Digipro G4 amplifier is the core of everything. The amplifier retains silent operation and requires no ventilation system; it also enables a max SPL of 133.5dB per unit. It's all driven through all-neodymium elements and an optimized all-in-one front panel, which includes an HF horn and a phase plug that smoothens frequency response for precise audio coverage.

Quiet operation with virtually no noise
The ViO L208 sports an opto-floating preamp, courtesy of its ADC Floating technology. This isolates the preamp and removes virtually all noise, hum, and potential interference. Plus, DSP presets coupled with awesome 56-bit DSP with linear phase FIR filters enable you to fine-tune your system in no time flat.
Easy to setup and fly
The integrated 3-point rigging system plus built-in inclinometer of the ViO L208 make it a total cinch to get it into the air and properly angled for maximum coverage and dispersion. Once it's there, RDNet protocol and Aurora Net software allow you total remote control of the unit.

Plays well with others
Specifically, with the ViO L210 as a down-fill unit. However, the L208 is also more than capable of standing on its own. It's a highly versatile unit that you'll enjoy owning, and your audience will enjoy listening to.

dBTechnologies: innovative audio technology propelled by pure passion
Arturo Vicari planted the seeds of dBTechnologies in 1973 when he founded A.E.B. (Acoustical Engineering Bureau) Industriale s.r.l., a leading manufacturer of broadcasting equipment, in Bologna, Italy. In 1990, A.E.B. began operating in the pro audio sphere, giving official rise to dBTechnologies. One thing that genuinely distinguishes dBTechnologies is the company’s considerable commitment to R&D. This investment has consistently earned the company industry-wide recognition for its groundbreaking designs, cutting-edge DSP, forward-looking networking protocols, and imposing sound pressure levels. Today, dBTechnologies stands among the most respected industry leaders in active speaker and digital amplifier technologies, with amplified audio systems, such as the award-winning ViO series of powered line arrays and subwoofers, installed in top-ranking venues worldwide. Here at Sweetwater, we count many top touring artists and world-class venues as friends and customers, and we’re thrilled to be able to elevate their crafts with industry-leading sound-reinforcement solutions from dBTechnologies.
