A Flexible Volume Pedal

Not just another volume pedal, the Mission Engineering VM-PRO is a multi-output, buffered, tweakable volume pedal that's ready for action. Think of the VM-PRO as the perfect starting point for you signal chain. Perfect for electric guitar, bass, and acoustic-electric guitars, the VM-PRO's input jack can be set for passive or active instruments. The buffered output ensures proper frequency response through your pedals and long cable runs. No matter what kind of rig you're running, the Mission Engineering VM-PRO volume pedal can handle it!

Mission Engineering VM-PRO Volume Pedal at a Glance:

    Dedicated tuner output
  • Rugged construction and flexible power options
Configure the VM-PRO to work with your rig

Most volume pedals are simple, one-trick-ponies, not the Mission Engineering VM-PRO volume pedal. This rugged pedal is tweakable to work with any rig. The input jack features an internal selector that lets you set the VM-PRO to work with passive or active pickups, this is perfect for electric guitars, basses, and acoustic-electric instruments. You'll never have to deal with signal loss or the dreaded "tone suck," thanks to the built-in buffer circuitry/line driver. This is perfect for long cable runs and large pedal boards. You can also configure the impedance of the output jack to better work with your vintage pedals. Call your Sweetwater Sales Engineer and find out what the Mission Engineering VM-PRO volume pedal can do for your rig.

Dedicated tuner output

The Mission Engineering VM-PRO gives you a dedicated and completely isolated tuner output via the TRS output jack. Tuners are notorious for coloring you tone, and not in a good way. The VM-Pro totally isolates the tuner from your rig keeping your tone pure.

Rugged construction and flexible power options

With all-metal construction and a durable powder coating, the Mission Engineering VM-PRO is ready for the abuse of the road. A flexible power circuit lets you use a 9V battery or any power supply from 9V to 18V. One bonus of using a higher voltage power supply is that it increases the headroom of the Mission Engineering VM-PRO, which is useful for high-level inputs.

Mission Engineering VM-PRO Volume Pedal Features:
  • Flexible volume pedal for any musician's rig
  • Internal controls let you adjust input jack for active or passive pickup, output impedance, and Sparkle switch to restore high end on long cable runs
  • TRS output jack feeds pedalboard and tuner through isolated signal paths
  • Pro-quality buffer/line driver for long signal runs
  • Durable, road-ready construction
Start your signal chain off right with the Mission Engineering VM-PRO volume pedal!

VM-Pro Buffered Volume Pedal

This is a Pedal for Volume that has other settings and can be used with stomp boxes or straight as a Volume Pedal. It is a million cycle Pedal so you can move your foot's heel and toe many, many, many, many, and even more times and it will still work. Using the default settings of the Pedal I could hook it up in 30 seconds, 15 if I really work at it. Sweetwater delivered this Pedal so fast, it was here a day early and they must be using Big Bird to drop off Packages at your place in no time flat. I did not see a drone, Big Bird, or a truck leave it off, so give Big Bird a hug next time the Bird swoops on down to deliver another package from your place - Sweetwater. Thanks to Alex Morales once again, for a painless journey into placing a buy.Oh, yes, I am not against driving in traffic to a local store and debating if the sales person knows anything with anything I really want or if they can order it and a buyer can wait for it whatever. But like I said the package arrived so quickly from Sweetwater that I did not have to think about it or spend any time on that aspect. Other than that, the Pedal can use a Power Supply like Roland Boss PSA-120S or a Hose Power Supply with the standard 2.1mm negative center pin or a 9V battery.I compare it to the Fender EXP-1 Pedal for the Fender Mustang Amp but then that may take more time then you have attention span for as soon as I go through the downloaded manual to hook that pedal up or use Fender Fuse software now knowing that I will need IE on my computer to even do that (I had taken it off).I have another amp also to use with this VM-Pro Pedal for volume and stomp boxes with a guitar and that will be that. The Mission Engineering VM-Pro Buffered Volume Pedal works greatly.

If you currently use a VPJR...UPGRADE TO THIS PEDAL!

Amazing all around. Comfortable to use. Amazing sweep. No tone loss. High quality parts. Reliable. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I have is the "feet"...they didn't sit well on my pedal board so I removed them and had to counter sink the back plate to let the screws sit flush...would have been nice if they supplied the correct screws/countersunk the back plate in the event that the used didn't want the feet. Buuuut I can't complain. Love this pedal and it was worth every penny.

Best Volume Pedal Ever!

I love this pedal! If you want a clean volume pedal, this is the one to look at. I've had this pedal for a few months and it does everything that I would ever want a volume pedal to do. This is designed for both active and passive guitars. The sparkle switch takes away some of the darker tones at lower volumes you would typically get and its super valuable to be able to have the power in between 9 and 18 volts. This lets you fill any empty spots on your power block, not constricting you! Perfect!
