50 Ways to Tweak Your Drum Sound
You just get some UJAM, Stan! Specifically, you get Legend, the latest in UJAM’s Virtual Drummer software series. In fact, Legend contains much more than 50 ways to reinvigorate your drum tracks — there are 30 different musical styles, each with 23 MIDI patterns, for a total of 690 phrases. Plus, there are five different drum kits with six mix presets, affording you a polished, finished drum sound in mere moments. Each individual instrument in Legend has its own respective channel in Legend’s mixer, and there’s also a comprehensive Master channel complete with Reverb, Color, and a Maximizer. Finally, Legend’s “Dust” effect cycles through the different miking techniques used to capture that dry, punchy ’70s drum sound that is a favorite of many Sweetwater drummers and studio engineers.
