Integrated shockmount and internal windscreen ensure top-notch onstage performance

When you take the stage with the sE Electronics V7, you don't have to worry about handling noise. An integrated shockmount decouples the V7's capsule, effectively eliminating rumble and other distracting sounds. An internal windscreen reduces unwanted wind noise and plosives. Both red and black windscreens are included, so you can choose which one suits your personal style.

Surprisingly Good

Wasn't sure what I would get when I purchased this mic, but let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. I have used this mic with both male and female voices with great... unbelievable performance and tone. I use this mic mostly for live situations, and you can get a serious amount of volume before feedback. I have replaced my beta 58's for these. Honestly, this mic's value to perform is really hard to beat. If you need a solid, good sounding and quiet mic that out performs more expensive mic's, the sE V7 is the way to good.

Love this mic

Using this as my vocal mic. I am blown away by the clarity and reproduction of nuances in my singing. On mine, the under-material on the grill is a very dark red. not the bright red that appears in the photo. So it's visually quiet on stage. According to the specs, it is half a db hotter than an SM58 so it will produce minimal surprises at the desk, other than how much nicer it sounds, when you sub it in. No need to swap the clip over either. I'm a baritone, but I think this would work for anybody given that it is very neutral sounding. Tried it on flute as well and that sounded very nice too, and no trouble with blast. So there would be no problem playing flute through it while sitting at the piano.

Sweetwater Advice

Evan Mehre

Both as a singer and as a live sound engineer, I'm impressed with the value of the sE Electronics V7 delivers. Its smooth and neutral response handles any kind of voice I've used it on. Another thing I love about this handheld mic is its low handling noise. That's an absolute necessity for professional live sound production.
