All-terrain, Do-anything Cart

What do you do if your back hurts before you head to the venue to get set up? Before you look to hire an expensive roadie, look to the On-Stage UTC5500 all-terrain utility cart! This lightweight, collapsible cart can haul up to 550 pounds of gear in a single go. To make sure it can accommodate equipment of almost any size, the engineers at On-Stage outfitted the UTC5500 with an extendable bed. At its biggest, the cart measures 52 inches by 13.6 inches with a handle height of 37 inches. Sweetwater stagehands are quick to point out the importance of this cart's four 8-inch wheels. Since two of them swivel, you can take your gear over rough terrain and park the cart with precision once you've unloaded it. Looking for a cart that can take a beating and carry a lot of gear at the same time? Choose the On-Stage UTC5500 all-terrain utility cart.

Reviews

Plesantly surprised!
I researched the heck out of carts this size and even though there were possible heavily loaded wheel issues, I picked this one. Well, the wheels have been upgraded. Build quality is outstanding. Steel ball bearings all wheels. Welds are beautiful. Fasteners already Loctited. Casters already greased! I hit all the hinge points with WD-40 and put it to the test. Loaded, it's a dream. Folds nicely small for a cart this size. Solid. Front casters steered as expected. Bolts and circlips everywhere, no cotter keys. Michael Duncan is my guy, always heads me in the right direction.

Not just for music gear
I've been looking for a utility cart that was strong enough and easy enough to use for moving cut wood. I've been through two utility carts that either fell apart because they weren't strong enough or were hard to use because of the wheels. This utility cart while promoted for carrying music equipment is just as capable carrying split wood. I need it to get from the barn to the house and I have to travel over gravel road base that you can see behind the cart in the picture. Smaller wheels on my last utility cart got bogged down in the looser gravel and it required too much pushing on my part, and at 72 yrs old with a bad hip I can't be pushing very hard. The swivel wheels on this utility cart don't quite turn that well on loose gravel (but they turn quite easily on flat surfaces like the sidewalk in the picture) but pushing the cart is much easier on my hip. I have the cart fully extended in this picture so I save myself two trips and save my hip a bit.
Great product
Working perfectly as it's brand new. Hopefully in a year or two it'll still be good.
THIS THING!!!! absolutely a great piece of gear to own.
I have nothing but high praise for this cart. Yes, it is heavy. Yes, it does take up some room in your pack. But man oh man, after you figure out where you are going to load it, it's an invaluable tool. I felt that the purchase price was justified the very first time I used it loading in. If you are tired of trying to use, and wearing out, tools that don't suit the job, step up to the plate.
Solid purchase.

Great stuff
This is my second cart and I'm so glad I got it.
It really makes things much easier.
