Detailed yet intuitive controls
With a trio of modules and an organized cluster of control knobs and sliders, the Transient Shaper plug-in displays detailed transient shaping in straightforward terms. The top module is dedicated to the presence of the audio signal, offering a sizable Transient knob for gain control and a smaller Warmth knob for saturation and harmonic distortion leveling. Below these controls, you’ll find a Focus slider that helps you determine the highlighted frequency range of the selected transient. The center module functions the same way, but focuses on the tail of signal.
The Transient Shaper's lower module is where you’ll find more advanced controls to help integrate your transients in the mix as smoothly as possible. Small buttons labeled Stereo Link, Listen, and Safety Clip are useful for mono signal sidechain detection, specific Transient/Sustain control outputting, and gain staging, respectively. Here, you can specify transient/tail signal length, boost the signal with Makeup, and blend your wet and dry signals with ease. Detailed enough to cover all your bases but simple enough to navigate with fluency — that’s Transient Shaper in a nutshell!
