At its core, the Reload II houses a class-leading all-analog reactive load box, enhanced by Celestion-approved load response to ensure your amplifier’s power stage delivers full sonic integrity. Its transparent dual-mono 215-watt-per-channel amplifier/attenuator scales your output from absolute silence to stage-shaking cacophony, allowing you to emulate the sound — and feel — of a full-throttle sonic onslaught at any volume. Additionally, the Reload II leverages Two Notes’ exceptional Genome software and DynIR cabinet emulations, including 24 premium virtual cabs from Celestion, to deliver direct-injected cranked-amp tones indistinguishable from the real deal. The Reload II also features two XLR line-level outputs, a footswitchable stereo FX loop, and comprehensive front-panel tone-shaping controls. Complete with eye-grabbing genuine wood side panels, the Reload II represents a definitive breakthrough in both guitar recording and backline control.

Authentic tone at any volume

The Reload II contains a top-quality all-analog reactive load box with Celestion-approved load response, ensuring an authentic playing experience with or without a cab. Compatible with both tube and solid-state amplifiers rated up to 200 watts, it supports selectable multi-impedance for 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm loads. The Reload II boasts twin-channel operation with per-channel source selection for one amp input and two line-level inputs. It provides continuous active attenuation, ranging from whisper-quiet to thunderous, arena-ready output, ensuring maximum tonal integrity at any volume. Additionally, its studio-grade dual-mono 215-watt-per-channel power amplifier includes two independent cabinet outputs, accommodating amp-equipped rigs and line-level inputs with equal confidence.

Brimming with powerful features

When it comes to cutting-edge features, the Two Notes Reload II certainly delivers. It includes two balanced XLR line outputs for effortless integration into your studio setup or routing your cab sims to front of house. The well-equipped footswitchable stereo FX loop offers Series/Parallel, Dual Mono, and A>B Link modes, along with selectable -10dBV and +4dBu send levels and a return Dry/Wet Mix control. The Reload II’s front-panel controls include Amp In Level, Cab volume, per-channel Source selection, and an XLR line-level Output knob. You also get per-channel Depth and Presence knobs for hands-on tone-shaping of your input sources. You'll revel in the high-power feel of the Reload II’s Mojo controls — even at low volumes. Finally, the Reload II delivers fuss-free gain stage optimization across its entire architecture to ensure optimal sound in every application.

Thinking of going cab-less? The Reload II is ready to oblige. It includes Genome Reload II Edition, a carrier-class plug-in software ecosystem renowned for its studio-quality cabinet emulations, along with outstanding amplifier, pedal, and effect models. Reviews

Viva la France!
I have a ton of gear from Sweetwater and elsewhere, yet have never done a review. Just not my thing. Lots of great guitars, amps, etc.
But this thing truly is a game changer. I can get a fantastic crunchy tone from my deluxe reverb that is no louder in the room than an acoustic guitar. Zero noise, easy controls, and the effects loop opens up a ton of possibilities.
I admit, I was very skeptical when I read this unit was made in France. I have never bought any kind of musical equipment made in France. My fears were wasted energy it turns out… This thing is wonderful! Not cheap, but worth every Franc!
Music background: Rusty Jones on Apple Music Spotify, etc.
Amazing piece of kit
I love it so much I bought two. I was a huge believer in the powerstation previously but found the reload to be more transparent. Very little heat dispersion is a bonus. I also sold my UA ox box since that does the direct thing as well. Add in the fact it does stereo and you've got yourself the most versatile innovative piece of kit on the market IMHO.
It's beautiful
I've tried them all. Two Notes Torpedo X, Tone King Iron Man II, Mesa IR+, Fryette PowerStation, and even using a Fractal Load Box into a KSR PA-50. The is the one that is the absolute best all in one package and it does it incredibly well. The connectivity is fantastic with a dual mono/stereo effects loop, selectable line in, dual power amp output, and it doesn't have an ground loop issue like the Fryette does. While the power amp in this isn't tube based like the Fryette or my KSR PA-50, it works incredibly well. The depth and presence really help with shaping the sound and the mojo button works great for the low volumes I typically have to play at to not disturb the baby neighbor. Note that the amp volume knob is stepped, but you can fine tune this with the amp in level knob.

I thought the design was a little odd with the wood endcaps, but now that I have it sitting on top of my walnut rack unit with my amp switcher and Syn-2, it looks great and fits right in. You can set it on top of any amp handle too since the middle section is routered out.
Fantastic Product, So much So That I Sold My Ox-Box
Ive never been 100% happy with the tonal qualities of any of these fancy Attenuators/Combo/IR Loader/Etc Amp Boxes. Ive been searching for a few years and in the process bought the UA Ox-Box, Fryette Power Station PS100, Suhr Reactive Load IR, BOSS WAZA Tube Amp, Captor and Captor-X, Tone King Ironman II, Rivera RockCrusher and the AmpRX Power Station. You can see this expensive chase has been going on forever. All this for trying to get the right tone, the right attenuation and right boost for my lower power amps and along came the RELOAD II. All I can say is the tone is AMP BLISS. It sounds better than any of those I bought and enough for me to part with the Ox-Box seeing as it was the odd man out (plus I had someone wanting to buy it). It attenuates my powerful vintage Marshall Plexi without losing that fantastic tone. It adds an effects loop that my Marshall does not have. It has glorious sounding Stereo or Dual Mono for when I run 2 Cabinets and it boosts a couple of my lower powered amps like my 15W VOX and now it sounds incredible. It can also send a line level signal to my audio interface and capture that beautiful tone. It does lack an IR Loader but I have the Surh to handle that so for me its not a negative although it might be for some. All my pedals sound fantastic through it and I now have them racked with the RELOAD II and can roll it straight to recording or a Gig without having to tote a monster pedalboard. Two Notes hit a HOME RUN in the tonal qualities and together with its other features gives me everything I ever chased. I won't be parting with it either, it's a keeper.
Awesome Unit
I've tried almost every attenuator and load box out there and FINALLY found one I LOVE. I've got the Fryette Power Station, Ox Box, BOSS WAZA, Rivera Rock Crusher, Iron Man II and Suhr Reactive Load Box and the Reload II is now my Number 1. As an attenuator it's perfect at any volume but it's way more than that. You can run dual amps, dual cabs, dual cab sims, wet/dry plus two channel loops and all the tone shaping controls you need. Paired with the GENOME IR's and FOH outputs takes this unit above all others. My search for the perfect attenuator/load box/dual amp box is over. You won't be disappointed.
