From tight XY configurations to positions up to 61.5" wide, the Orbit 2/O2 dual-arm orbital boom makes stereo overhead miking easy. When you add a couple of Micro 2/M2 orbital mic adapters to the ends, it doesn't matter if you're using pencil condensers or heavy side-address ribbons, you'll get perfect mic placement every time. All this fits on a single Triad T3 tall stand, which means you can comfortably set the mics over the middle of your drum kit, without crowding the drummer.

If you want to cover your toms or other drums, without adding stands to your setup, here's a great way to customize the Drum Overhead System. Just add Triad-Orbit IO-C Clamps with Orbit Arm/OA boom bases, short boom arms, and Micro 2/M2 orbital mic adapters, and you can easily reach additional drums and key positions in your kit.
