TMB-100 Series | Versatile Tone | Price-Value | Quality

The TMB-100 series offers very versatile tone with the active EQ controls. A slight inconvenience is keeping a spare 9V battery handy. But the active EQ is intuitive to use and very effective. The tonal palate is very broad and can cover just about any genre. Fit and finish on this series is very good, but this can always vary a bit.Don't expect "hand picked" inspection and quality control at the level of a $3,000 instrument. The quality, however, is very good. The biggest quality problem I have had with instruments and related gear is FedEx shipping damage. 2 day shipping expectations leads to disappointment if FedEx can't deliver an undamaged instrument 99% of the time.I routinely buy Ibanez instruments sight unseen. The quality control is good for this price level, if you are not too much of a perfectionist. I worry more about FedEx damage or warehouse repacking of returned instruments, because this still occurs in the music business - a 30 year+ track record of occasionally disappointing customers. Maybe one day the sales & distribution channel will clean up it's act if the manufacturers and consumers demand more from all merchants, local or online. I trust Sweetwater will work diligently on my behalf for a satisfactory product sales and support experience.
