To the person who dinged the rating because the cable is proprietary, well no it's not. Shure uses the same connector and probably a few others. You can swap with a Shure wireless cable or there are plenty of upgraded cables on eBay for this connector, which I highly suggest because they are far superior quality-wise to the Line 6 and Shure cables. This unit is perfect, I can't find anything wrong with it, super-tough and also, I don't know what he's talking about regarding the battery cover because it's also metal (not plastic) and rock-solid.

Line 6 TBP12 Beltpack Transmitter

I bought a Line 6 G30 system when it first came out. I had deferent brands before but they would change the tone of the guitar. The Line 6 equipment did exactly what they said, it sounded as if I was plugged in with a guitar cable. Then because the G30 case is plastic it some how got broken.I found that the G50 case was metal and it would work with the G30 receiver on the first 6 channels. I have had the G50 transmitter for a while and it works like the G30 only it is more solidly made with a metal case.I would recommend that is you get the Line 6 gear that it would be the G50 or higher as it is a solid system. The cons if there would be any is that the G50 belt pack transmitter is a little heaver that the G30.

Great Clear Tone

An amazing unit - this is actually a replacement after a battery "incident" - purely the battery's fault, not this unit.I love the freedom of wireless you get, and you can't beat the clarity and the price!
