Great sounding reverb

This reverb pedal from TC Electronic is awesome! The sounds and textures you can get out of this thing are incredible, and the dimensionality to the tone when playing in stereo is huge. Most of the reverb sounds pre-programmed in the pedal are bigger, more ambient reverbs than your standard spring or plate reverb, so that's important to keep that in mind considering the T2. But with TC's TonePrint ability, you can throw a more subtle reverb sound in the TP setting, and flip from a classic Twin Reverb sound, to a warm syrupy sound, to a giant cathedral, to something that sounds like a cave where the walls take the sound waves and punch them in the face a few times before allowing them to return, all with a turn of a nob. You have access to all of the Hall of Fame reverb sounds with the TonePrint app, or you can make your own reverb sounds with the software. This pedal is very versatile, sounds fantastic, and is a blast to play around with. The silent switch, true bypass, and stereo are great features too. Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes ambient, big reverbs.

Haunting sounds

I bought this pedal and the Alter Ego 2 delay at the same time about 3 months ago. The T2 is what I refer to as a "specialty" pedal as its not a pedal that I find useful in all situations. I don't think it should be the only reverb on the board. Don't get me wrong it does what it does very well. I use it primarily to record original music with and it emits haunting sounds to create darker textures. I also have the Hall of Fame reverb which is really more of your versatile, every day, one size fits all, recording/gigging pedal. I love the sounds I get from the T2 and for the studio it is handy to have on hand. I would absolutely buy this pedal again but I don't feel it could serve as my only reverb pedal.
