The Studio 192 Mobile Advantage

Whether you're in your studio, a venue, or hotel room, when creativity strikes, you've got to be ready to capture it. And that's the PreSonus Studio 192 Mobile advantage. With this powerful, ultra-flexible USB audio interface, you can concurrently stream up to 22 inputs and 26 outputs at 48kHz (8 x 14 at 192kHz). For plug-ins, you've got Studio One Fat Channel processing on all analog (and the first eight ADAT) inputs, all while monitoring with amazingly low latency. The Studio 192 packs outstanding sonic fidelity, generous connectivity, and pro monitoring and mixing facilities into a compact desktop chassis.

The core of your studio

With the PreSonus Studio 192 Mobile, you have an integrated hardware/software solution for recording in any studio - from mobile to project to professional. Take command of your main mix with software-controlled convenience. The six balanced outputs can be used for either monitor mixing or speaker switching (or both) according to your workflow. Optimized with flexible software and generous I/O, the PreSonus Studio 192 Mobile forms the core of your production environment. Sweetwater engineers are quite impressed with the Studio 192 Mobile; we're sure you will be too.

Exceptional sound quality

Your Studio 192 Mobile delivers all the detail and the effortless, airy high end you demand of a professional front end. To provide ultra-high-definition recording and mixing, the Studio 192 Mobile operates at up to 192kHz. Each input and output is fitted with genuine Burr-Brown converters for 118dB of dynamic range that lets you capture delicate harmonics without audible distortion. PreSonus's recallable XMAX mic preamps provide high headroom, for rich, full-frequency sound that lets you hear every minute detail and transient in your recordings.

The Studio One connection

PreSonus designed the Studio 192 Mobile to be a fully integrated extension of your recording setup. Inside Studio One 3 DAW software, you'll enjoy full control over preamps as well as zero-latency monitor-mixing functions. The hybrid Fat Channel plug-in is powered by the Studio 192's DSP, letting you monitor and record with interface-based processing and use the Studio One Fat Channel for playbacks. You don't even need to have your computer with you; just launch Studio One Remote on your iPad. Use a third-party DAW? No worries. You can also control the Studio 192 Mobile's built-in features from PreSonus's free UC Surface control software, a user-friendly mixing interface that gives you everything you need to create high-quality monitor mixes.

FREE Plug-in Suite for Your Favorite DAW

PreSonus delivers more value than ever with their mixers and interfaces, thanks to the Studio Magic Plug-in Suite. This extensive collection of seven popular plug-ins covers models of top studio gear from manufacturers such as Maag Audio, Lexicon, and Arturia, adding up to hundreds of dollars of extra value. Punch up your mix bus with Brainworx's bx-opto, add ambience with Eventide's SP2016-inspired Stereo Room reverb, fire up transients with SPL's Attacker, and much more. And since these plug-ins are available in AAX, VST, and AU formats, they're compatible with any DAW you choose.

So Far, So Great

I've had this for a couple of months and have recorded vocals, mic'd instruments, SansAmp, and direct. Everything sounds like the source thanks to some excellent preamps and you can't ask for much more than that. The UI is intuitive. Integrates seamlessly with Studio One. Latency is almost nonexistent and easily controlled, setup was a piece of cake. The hardware feels solid as you would expect from Presonus. Highly recommended. I replaced an Audient id14 with this unit and would never, ever go back. Thanks to my sales rep Justin for recommending this product and helping with the purchase.

Excellent product

I recently purchased the PreSonus Studio 192 Mobile interface from Sweetwater. My helpful sales engineer is Derek. The 192 is a noticeable step up from the FireStudio Mobile that I had been using for several years. I have it paired with the Creation Station CS250v5. The sound is pristine and very clear. I’m just getting started with it; however, I hope it will reliably turn out good results for a long time to come.

Great Service

My experience with Sweetwater has been amazing. From price, selection, and the great service. The personal service that I received from Jon Amato was A+. He was efficient, polite, personal and extremely professional. I was very surprised to here he had only worked for the company for a year. I am building a studio, and I will go no place else. Sweetwater has a life long customer. All because of Jon. Thank you for you great products and service. If I lived in that area, I would go to work for them.

Great All Around

Great all around interface. All the buttons and knobs are solid, the led lights on the front are good and not too bright or distracting. Mic pres sound great. Everything sounds realistic and flat coming out. Almost zero latency. My only complaint is with the Universal Control App that comes along with it. I always change my outputs (A/B speakers) via channels in Protools, however if you switch outputs (A, B, or C) in the UC app, it will not let you switch them in PT unless you restart your computer. Hopefully they fix that in a future software update tho. For now, I just dont use the App, which is ok because I have no use for it really.

Amazing unit for the price!

This thing is incredible for the price! My sales rep Jon Gillespie set me up with an incredible price and got it to my door in a couple of days. Sound Quality: The converters in this device are Burr Brown. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about why it sounds so incredible. With a dynamic range of 118db, it's quite loud too. You can go all the way up to 192khz as well. I'm using it at 96khz 24bit and getting a 4.3ms latency :D Build Quality: Here I have to knock them a little bit. My volume knob rubs when I turn it low (you can feel it touching something on the inside). Besides that however all of the knobs are aluminium (they are anodized blue, but they are aluminium), the casing is all metal, the usb cable is plenty long, it comes with rubber feet to stick on (so you don't have to have them), and it's displays are easy to read. Software: The software was a little rocky to get installed, but I think that's because I hadn't uninstalled my previous Presonus drivers before installing the first time. The second time it worked without a hitch. The software is easy to use, though the labeling on functions could be improved. The device also likes to lock to a program if ASIO is used at all, and has to powercycle before working with other programs. It's irritating, but it's obviously not a deal breaker lol. Overall: Sure the device has it's bumps, but it's an amazing unit! It also is quite affordable for the technology they pack inside it. Love it!
