This granular-based virtual instrument enables you to effortlessly shape sci-fi textures, dystopian soundscapes, post-apocalyptic ambiences, and more for any film, game, series, or music project. The heart of Straylight consists of two modules, Granular and Sample, which work in tandem to give you customized sound sculpting and intelligent randomizing. Straylight's XY Matrix and Pad also morph existing sources into different sounds according to the settings you've selected for the XY parameters. Furthermore, convenient CC MIDI mapping allows you to add movement and depth to your sounds immediately, ensuring they align with your project's tempo for seamless musical implementation. Looking to use your own samples? Sweetwater sound designers particularly love the ability to drag-and-drop their own work into Straylight to create bespoke, one-of-a-kind sound designs. Finally, the ability to modulate up to 14 different effects from nine different categories means that you add the final touches to your tracks with an array of reverbs, delays, EQs, and overdrives at your disposal.
