Thus, Stevie spec’d his signature Stratocaster’s pau ferro fingerboard out with a 12-inch radius — a spec rarely seen on standard Stratocasters and a boon to any player who regularly tears out massive multi-step bends in the fingerboard’s higher register. This fingerboard stands supported by an early 1960s-style thick oval neck profile that comfortably fills out your palm, directly inspired by the neck on Stevie’s mongrel 1962/1963 vintage Stratocaster.
