Analog sound built for the wireless age
Bringing analog quality to the digital world, the Spira offers flexible connections for integration with your wireless setup or for use as a traditional component in your home audio system. An onboard Bluetooth transmitter manages wireless connections, pairing with a range of devices, including headphones and active speakers, so you can enjoy no-fuss, cable-free listening. Alternatively, RCA outputs and a rear ground terminal let you make the most of the built-in phono preamp and connect directly to your amplifier or powered speakers for wired, plug-and-play convenience. The built-in phono preamp is also bypassable, allowing you to connect directly to an existing external phono stage or upgrade your system in the future.

Faithful vinyl playback from stylus to platter
The Spira includes a pre-mounted Audio-Technica cartridge, a straight aluminum alloy tonearm, and an adjustable counterweight to set the proper tracking force and prevent wear and distortion. It also features an anti-skating mechanism for accurate tracking and a tonearm lifter for smooth cueing. A removable headshell facilitates easy cartridge changes, and Cambridge Audio notes that the Audio-Technica 3600LE elliptical stylus (sold separately) serves as an excellent performance upgrade. Additionally, a high-mass steel platter maintains rotational stability and is paired with a felt mat to reduce resonance and slipping, enabling stable, accurate playback at both 33 and 45 rpm. Finally, a lacquered, solid-wood plinth reduces unwanted vibration, and a hinged dust cover protects your records and equipment.
