Immersive Audio Calls for Immersive Mixing
By virtue of its complexity, immersive audio formats demand intuitive, streamlined tools that help engineers like you stay in the zone as you adapt works to each format's rigorous demands. Waves’ Spherix plug-in is a new, one-of-a-kind mixing suite specifically made for dense multichannel mixing of immersive audio. The suite essentially boils down to two plug-in sections: a compressor and a brickwall limiter. However, Spherix’s scope extends far beyond that with powerful tools for channel linking, bussing, sidechain reactivity, multichannel metering, speaker zone grouping, and more. With this groundbreaking software, engineers are ready to meet immersive audio technical challenges head-on with fewer distractions, keeping the focus on what really matters: the music.

Masterful channel linking control and single-touch editing
At the heart of Spherix sits intuitive channel linking that lets you mix, process, and adjust multiple channels or speaker zones with as little as one click. Spherix’s channel linking is the simplest and safest way to tackle a number of iimmersive audio channels efficiently. In fact, Spherix is specifically designed with quick-access controls and multichannel metering that cut down your total workload. Once you're familiar with its tools, Spherix makes immersive mixing feel almost as simple as stereo mixing.
Dynamic sidechain control
Sweetwater sound engineers are especially in awe of Spherix’s unique Weight control! This Spherix exclusive gives users new ways to manipulate sidechain reactivity for a host of interesting, dynamic results. Essentially, the weight tool lets you adjust the sidechain balance and content as is flows into channel-linked groups. You decide how and where grouped channels react to their source. For instance, you can make groups react more to individual channels or more to a source group. The result is lifelike movement that can add heft, openness, and sparkle to any mix. With Spherix, immersive audio sounds like it should.
