One-window layout makes tweaking your reverb simple As powerful and sophisticated as UVI's Sparkverb plug-in is, it's single-window design makes creating and tweaking your effects extremely easy. That's one of the things that most of the mixing and sound-design professionals at Sweetwater look for, not only because it makes nailing down your sound easy, but because it lets you work quickly and still get great results. Other aspects of the layout also help to streamline your workflow. For instance, you can drag around on the spectral display to adjust the decay time across different frequencies, which makes balancing your reverb tone highly intuitive. Top it off with simple and straightforward controls, and you're in business. Randomize or Mutate your reverb for automated inspiration There are many wonderful presets in Sparkverb to get you started right off the bat, but what if you're not quite getting to the reverb sound you're looking for? Well, Sparkverb offers you a couple of ways to roll the dice and end up with a reverb style you might not have though of on your own. Mutate is a function that applies a touch of randomization to your parameters, subtly tweaking your sound in small and controllable increments, whereas Randomize is significantly more dramatic. In both cases, you can lock whichever parameters you want to keep, allowing you to achieve fairly predictable results.
