Flux:: Solera is an in-depth full-band dynamics processing suite with four primary modules: a compressor, expander, de-compressor, and de-expander. All four can work in parallel, giving you unparalleled dynamics processing capabilities. Solera also includes three release modes — Manual, Auto, and Advanced — as well as incredibly robust functions for Mid-Side and Sidechain processing (even offering external sidechain support for AAX and AU in mono and stereo formats). Solera’s eight detection modes are sure to suit any type of content. Other features include a huge +/-48dB of input and output gain, a clever A and B Preset/Parameter slot system, Open Sound Control (OSC) support, Dry/Wet controls, and a musical peak limiter at the final processing stage.

Increase dynamic range without introducing artifacts
Each of Solera’s dynamics processing sections contains familiar standard controls, such as threshold and ratio. However, they also feature two unique settings: Dynamics Ratio and Level Independent Detection (LID). Essentially, these use not only an incoming signal’s level, but also its dynamic range in conjunction with your manually set ratio and threshold values to apply Solera’s own auto-ratio and auto-threshold. The Dynamics Ratio setting handles the amount of auto-ratio, and then LID handles the amount of auto-threshold. Sweetwater mix engineers are simply astounded at how this widens the dynamic range without introducing any noisome artifacts.
Powerful, musical sidechain section
Solera boasts a robust sidechain section, including a 3-band equalizer with Gain, Frequency, and Bandwidth (Q-Factor) controls on each band. Additionally, each band also offers five filter types: 12dB-per-octave High/Low Pass, Low/High Shelf, and Parametric. Finally, Pro Tools and Logic Pro X users get an extra cherry on their Solera sundae in the form of external sidechain support for AAX and AU mono/stereo formats.
