Connect like never before
The smooth operation of the SoftStep 3 doesn’t end with its interface — it’s also a breeze to connect. Using a simple TRS connection, this connection allows you to bridge traditional 5-pin MIDI equipment, such as hardware synthesizers. You can also operate directly with your laptop or desktop computer via MIDI over USB, and use the CV outputs to engage Eurorack and modular equipment for controls like pitch and gate messaging. Finally, a lone pedal input permits an outside expression controller to send the same MIDI CC messages as the rest of the SoftStep 3.
