If you play or record classic rock and or country guitar, this is the module you'll go to for this ans well ans jazz. It can do clean to crunch as well as takes overdrive pedals very well. It's not Hi-Gain, which it wasn't intended for that style.

I am very happy with this module by synergy. I do own four other synergy models & this is my go to module on a lot of music I write, record or play.

I went through a lot of different modules that I thought would have a good clean tone and a drive channel, but everyone I tried seemed to be a compromise. FYI: Ecstasy, Powerballand IICP. The Deliverance has me intrigued as to a possible module. I do a wide variety of tones but found my Leads and chugs tones in the SLO II. I have 3 SLO's and the TDLX for cleans and pushed cleans. Couldn't be happier right now! of course, there's always more to try but you won't be disappointed in the TDLX cleans!!

The YouTube videos do not do the Red Channel justice on this preamp, compared to my hardwired Fender 57 Deluxe (which sounds pretty dang close to my vintage 59 Narrow Panel Tweed Deluxe) the Red Channel with the right settings has THAT tone!!! I was already sold on the Spanky clean Blackface Deluxe tones of the blue Channel, but the Red Channel providing the grit of a tweed amp makes this Synergy Module an amazing tone Machine A+++++++++
Build Quality is excellent. Some folks complain about the closeness of the knobs and the small switches and all I can say is, Stop whining, you just got a Tweed Deluxe and a Blackface Deluxe in a small package that you can either insert into your FX Loop (like I'm doing now) or with a stereo amp for a stereo rig (which I will be doing, just saving up)

Killer Tones, very happy!

I have had like 10 modules now and I have to say sometimes the lessser gain ones have an appeal as the uber gains just cannot render these tones. This is a glorious combination of cleaner tones. I think the best clean channel and overall pedal platform of any I have had. The clean Fender twin channel is just outstanding and the tweed one gives that lovely bit of warm distortion the tweeds are know for. Kicking with a good drive works so well. What an underrated module to be sure. A lot to be said for a nice Fender style platform useful for a lot of things. Friedman does well with his array of modules as well. We all tend to go for the uber name gains it seems but really sometimes you get tired of that intensity and you just want to play something a little more tonal and rich. You can always add a good distortion pedal or stack some drives and bump that up but man I like this module. Hoping Synergy releases some new stuff this summer waiting on the next offering. What's not to love about Synergy just incredibe versatility, all tube analog high voltage, does not get any better.

It does sound like a Fender amp. Great cleans. I use it with a Lotus pre-amp as well to give a nice round edge of break up sound and works very well with it.
