Awesome sound........

I just bought into the Synergy system and I've tried out the Drect, IICP, 6505, 800, and BE-DLX. I love this module. It is basically the idealized dual rectifier sound. Lots of low end without being overbearing. Some fizz without being too fizzy. It's just perfect. It sounds better than my mini-rectifier (not as cute though) when used with the EL84 power section or using it as a preamp only by using the FX send to my KSR PA-50. You can even coax a nice, warm clean sound on the channel 1 orange with the gain way down and the volume up. It's a keeper and honestly worth buying into the Synergy system to have it.

This unit will rock your world!
It's a beautiful beast. Mean, nasty, dirty, heavy... It's THAT sound, and it does it magnificently. WELL DONE Synergy! Can't speak highly enough about this module. My absolute fave since the SLO.
The Drect is a bonafide face-melter. That low-mid bump is very present, but then you have all the rich harmonics on top, like a layer of sweet icing on a piece of Devil's Food cake! And if you want to watch your weight, just switch over to the blue channel, toggle to the "orange" option, dial down the gain, and you have some classic dirty crunch.
This thing was not made to play nice. It's a definite bad boy, but in a good way!

And a big thanks to Sweetwater for getting this to me in record time. With their distribution center out here in AZ, I ordered this module Saturday afternoon, and it was on my doorstep before lunchtime on Monday. Can't beat that!!
