Classic SVT Tone!

Looking for a speaker cabinet to brighten up your bottom-heavy bass rig? Or, maybe you've recently downsized your transportation to save a few bucks on fuel, and no longer have room to haul your SVT-810E to the gig. The Ampeg SVT-410HE is also the ideal enclosure for the player who wants to add extended upper register clarity to a system that already features ample low frequency performance. Just ask George Clinton-he uses an SVT-410E to round out the top-end of his killer, all-SVT stage setup.

Great bass cad

First of all, I'm glad I chose sweetwater again to make my purchase, you guys are the best! Fast shipping, payment plan, and zero complaint, great service. The cab itself is great, I have an svt3 pro that I was running through a Ashdown. It was a great cab but I got to try my head with the svt 410 he at a friends and I knew I had to have it. It is designed to compliment an Ampeg amp and it does. I feel like I was getting g only half the round sound, now I get it all with this cab. I highly recommend it.

Thunder & Punch!

I am a die-hard Ampeg player/fan and have been for years. This cabinet gives me the snap, punch, tone, and depth that my Ernie Ball MusicMan Stingray 5 bass needs while pounding out the low-end for Killing Grace. This has also been a completely solid road-dog without fail!

This 410 packs a lot of punch!!!

Using this cabinet with my BA 210 Ampeg and man what a wall of sound that it creates. It handles my five strings like nothing else.

the cab to get when your tired of moving the 810e

I played the 810e for a decade and loved it. But eventually I got sick of moving it. Went on the hunt for a cab that had the sound of the 810 in a smaller package. The 410he has been working out great. I prefer the tighter more focused lows of the sealed 410he over the flubby/boomy low end of the ported HLF. The additional low end clarity makes the 410he seem louder on stage than the 410hlf. obviously the 410he is not as loud as the 810e but tonally the only noticeable difference is the 410he has a horn, but you can turn the horn all the way down if you want to. Because the casters are removable, when I get to the venue I can remove the two back wheels to get the cab to tilt up some for shallow stages. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is I wish this cab was also available in a 4ohm model. You basically need a head or power amp that has the juice to push the 810e to make the 8ohm 410he really sing.

Ooh baby

Mee loving this cab. I pair it with an ampeg 115, and together I got bass boomy bliss. I only rated it 4 stars, but that's cuz it's great but I was not "blown away" as the 5 star review would suggest. For that, I had to add the 115, which added deeper boom kaboom and maple syrupy sweet & deep dreamy vibrations to the mix. This 410 adds the necessary punch, or more like a roundhouse kick in the jaw. The type of kick to give the listener whiplash shall he or she stand too close. I run them from a Hartke 5500 500 watt amp, which is a good match for these two. Maybe after sacrificing my poor innocent soul a little longer in the salt mines I'll be able to afford an svt head so that I can bliss out in SVTone heaven, but till then, I'm a stone's throw away, floatin in the clouds waitin for the good lord to bless me by elevating me to the next level of rig righteousness.
