Music background: Intermediate musician and songwriter
Like a glove!
Got this for a Fender Player stratocaster HSS and it protects my investment securely. The cut out is made specificaly for strats and you can tell when you set it inside. It has a little bit of leeway but your axe will not move much as some of the more general electric guitar cases. My guitar stays put. The latches are plastic but close securely. It can be locked. Quality if great. Looks is really nice with the blue interior. Good storage compartment to place a strap and a 10ft cable, tuner, picks, etc. I would recommend this case to anyone who wants to protect thier investment.

Solid and perfect secure fit.
All the other reviews were all spot on. The latches are easy and a perfect solid "click" My Sweetwater sticker was the first one.
Excellent buy and not heavy plywood to lug around either.

Music background: 57 years. One major label and endless stories and memories. We are graced with out guitars and then one day they move on to the next pair of hands. A beautiful thing.

Perfect Match
Last year I purchased a Sweetwater Exclusive American Professional Strat in Sapphire. The case that it came with was like this one only in Black with gray interior. As I was looking a couple of months ago I came across this case, Gray with Blue interior and I had to get it as it helps me know which guitar I am grabbing and the interior goes with my guitar's color.
The case is well made with a plush interior with placenta of space for a few accessories. It is not a flight case, but I believe it would protect a guitar from anything short of a tornado.
