SampleTank MAX's redesigned interface allows you to dig deeper than ever before. Switch between sampling engines, including the award-winning STRETCH algorithm, with ease. Adjust every parameter of SampleTank's 16 different filters. Edit envelopes, oscillators, portamento, polyphony, and more. With SampleTank MAX, you can tweak each and every element of a sound. You can even edit different zones of the sound, focusing on just lows or highs, to create instruments that morph radically across their range.
Arpeggiator, Strummer, Pattern Player, and Loop Manager
Groove production in IK's SampleTank MAX is easier than ever, thanks to four powerful new tools. Use the Arpeggiator to draw patterns up to 16 notes, then adjust velocity, length, and swing. Fire up the Strummer section to create realistic guitar chords, with complete control over key, chord positions, strumming direction, and more. With the Pattern Player, you can browse MIDI patterns and map them to different keys that you then trigger on the fly. And similarly, the Loop Manager lets you assign or trigger hundreds of loops, with access to a complete range of controls.
Live mode injects excitement into any performance
Want to use SampleTank MAX for live performance? No problem. Its Live mode makes building an entire set list easy, while supplying you with the controls you need on stage. Organize a set list quickly and easily, by saving Multis by song. Assign a unique program change message to each sound to move between sounds from your MIDI controller or keyboard. Beyond that, drag-and-drop functionality allows you to change your set list on a whim. You can assign each Multi its own tempo, allowing you to use the Arpeggiator, Strummer, Pattern Player, and Loop Manager without adjusting any settings. And each Multi has its own master volume control, so you can turn it up for your solo or lay back in the groove when it’s time — all without adjusting a bunch of settings.

SampleTank MAX adds 13 new effects for a total of 60 — and since they're derived from AmpliTube and T-RackS, they sound amazing. From realistic tube saturation to analog pedal effects to pro-sounding studio processors, you've got everything you need to craft top-drawer sounds. On top of that, a new modulation matrix gives you high-level control over the organic complexity of your sounds. With it, you can link modulation sources like envelopes, LFOs, oscillators, and even individual instrument elements. Best of all, you can access your effects in a single window via a DAW-style mixer interface — no menu-diving necessary. Mixing has never been easier!
