I have several eq plugins, but now use the ssl almost exclusively. It is precise, accurate, and MUSICAL.
Gotten great results using it on bass guitar. Bottom end like ssl 4000 I used a few years ago.
Do yourself a favor, call Sweetwater, and get the plug-in.

As an engineer we all know that we have certain plug-in that make the slightest of differences but it's those little tweaks that all come together and make one big great sound. This plug in is that plug in for me personally. With this plug in I can take somebodies recording and put them In the same room as another recording done at a completely different location. It's a super dope plug in. Recommend for any engineer.

This plug in is the bestplug in I have ever used. The gate keeps my vocals clean and punchy. Absolutely a must have in the studio.
