Solid State Logic Drumstrip
Drums are the backbone of rock and pop, and a stellar drum sound can take a good song and make it great. Think "When the Levee Breaks" or "In the Air Tonight" — tunes that became iconic due in large part to their drums. But, engineers at Sweetwater will attest that obtaining an impactful drum mix is no easy feat. It takes a great ear and the right combination of processors. The SSL Drumstrip packs all the components you need to craft the perfect drum mix in one easy-to-operate plug-in. Featuring a transient shaper, a dedicated drum gate, high-frequency and low-frequency enhancers, and the classic SSL listen mic compressor, SSL Drumstrip adds clarity, punch, and heft to any drum recording. And its modular design lets you swap the order of the processors to adapt to different kit types and drumming styles — you can't mix a metal kit like a jazz kit. Well, you could, but you probably shouldn't! Booming kicks, snappy snares, and exciting drum overheads, the SSL Drumstrip can do it all.
Solid State Logic Drumstrip Features:
- All the components for a stellar drum mix in a single channel-strip-style plug-in
- Transient shaper to manipulate attack and sustain for maximum impact
- Dedicated drum gate to clean up mic bleed and unwanted background noise

- Reorder the processors for a truly customized signal chain
Solid State Logic Vocalstrip 2
For most listeners, the vocals are the first thing that draws them into a song and forges an emotional connection between them and the artist. So, getting the vocals right is arguably the most crucial task a mix engineer performs. A great vocal sound requires several elements, such as presence, weight, and intelligibility, that engineers at Sweetwater know typically require a handful of processors to accomplish well. SSL Vocalstrip 2 dramatically simplifies that undertaking, packing the most vital processors into one simple-to-use channel strip for your DAW. Featuring a dynamic envelope-based de-esser and de-ploser, Vocalstrip 2 takes care of the initial clean up with ease, eliminating unpleasant plosives and harsh sibilance before feeding a vocal into your effects chain. Vocalstrip 2's transparent and precise SSL 3-band EQ is a powerful tone shaper with highpass, asymmetric notch, and an air band for top-end sparkle. And the plug-in's powerful compander smooths out performances and pulls vocals to the front of the mix, for an intimate or in-your-face listening experience.
Solid State Logic Vocalstrip 2 Features:
- Comprehensive vocal channel strip with 4 essential processors
- Includes a dynamic envelope-based de-esser and de-ploser for initial clean up
- Transparent and precise 3-band SSL EQ provides incredible tone shaping, with highpass, asymmetric notch, and air bands
- Powerful compander smooths performance and pulls vocals to the front of the mix
- EQ curves are graphically rendered in real time for visual feedback
Solid State Logic Guitarstrip
This impressive guitar modeling plug-in from Solid State Logic is an engineer's perfect solution for all-in-one amplification! With four modules onboard and tools made for electric guitar, bass guitar, and acoustics, Guitarstrip is the ideal conduit for pre-mix recording and mixing work. Three modules help shape your guitar tone: drive, compression, and EQ. The drive channel emulates genuine tube amp technology, so you can dial-in anything from subtle saturation to roaring grit. A spread of compressor and EQ options let you take that tone and sink it into your mix for dynamics that pop and guitars that sit perfectly. These modules not only offer core EQ and compressor functions, but they are also built with gain-optimized features that make managing hot signals easier than ever. And finally, Guitarstrip's extensive phase correction module can easily right anything that may go wrong along the way.
Solid State Logic Guitarstrip Features:
- 4 tailored guitar processing models with versatile tone-shaping tools: Drive, EQ, Compressor, and Phase Correction
- Built for use with electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and bass
