Plug-in Processing Powerhouse for Studio and FOH

Powered by the latest-generation Intel Coffee Lake i3-9100 CPU, Waves' SoundGrid Server One-C is a dedicated audio processing unit with one mission: running your plug-ins. This offloads all plug-in processing tasks from your computer to the server, allowing the use of more plug-ins in your productions without any restrictions imposed by the power of your computer’s CPU. With SoundGrid Connect — included in the server’s accompanying software — almost any audio interface can "speak" SoundGrid, so you don’t have to replace your existing gear in order to power your sessions with SoundGrid.

Handles the grunt work, so you don't have to

Take it from Sweetwater: whether you're mixing front-of-house or tracking in the studio, real-time plug-in processing is essential. With latency whittled down to an ultra-low 0.8ms at 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96kHz, SoundGrid Server One-C handles the grunt work at lightning-fast speeds, leaving you to job one: whipping up a killer mix. Server One-C's roadworthy, all-metal 2RU chassis is only half the width of a standard 19" rack, so you can rack-mount either a single server using rack ears, or mount two servers side-by-side on a rack shelf.

Since the early days of DAW software, Waves has been a dominating force in music and audio production. For those of us here at Sweetwater who've been recording since the industry switched over to computer-based studios, it's impossible to imagine sessions without L series Ultramaximizers, MaxxBass, and other staples. Since then, we've been impressed every time Waves has brought top producers such as Jack Joseph Puig and Chris Lord-Alge to Sweetwater to show off their next cutting-edge creations, and Waves is constantly adding new and innovative plug-ins to their catalog. And with cool new gear such as their SoundGrid series, Sweetwater engineers have discovered just how easy it is to use Waves plug-ins live.
