Retro, Hand-laminated Wood Shell Case

Reverend's TKL Teardrop Guitar Case is constructed from a hand-laminated, multi-ply wood shell that creates a solid amount of protection when carrying or storing your guitar. The grip-molded handle facilitates comfortable transport of your Reverend instrument, while its Providence forge steel-plated locks and external hardware ensure extra security. The contoured interior is generously padded for more protection, and also offers a traditional neck support system. Sweetwater guitarists appreciate the internal storage compartment, which is handy for stowing your capo, tuner, slide, picks, and extra strings. The classic 2-tone design gives your case a black top and bottom with white sides, presenting a charming mid-century presentation to perfectly suit your Reverend axe. Finally, each case is thoroughly inspected before leaving Reverend's HQ, so you can rest assured you're getting the highest quality possible.

Perfect case
I was concerned by how small this case looked when it first showed up. But it couldn't be more of a perfect fit for the Gretsch g5260. It's a bit pricey, but it's also the only hard case that'll secure the guitar properly, for some reason the gretsch baritone case doesn't. But if you have one you know it's worth preserving. Can't thank my sales engineer Bart Amburn enough for helping me find this, anytime I have a question they have the answer and it works out great. Sweetwater is the best.

Ibanez AZ prestige case for size comparison to show why you may think it might not fit your guitar on arrival, but have no worries if you've asked your sales engineer

Nice Case
I have the Pete Anderson Eastsider Baritone with the long 28 5/8 scale length & there are no issues with fit. Heavy duty hinges and plenty of cushioning for good protection. The two-tone design is a cool retro look also. The only issue I could see is if you have a lot of cases and have to stack them the teardrop shape won't stack well with the typical rectangular guitar cases.

For Gretsch Batitone Electric
I got this for a Gretsch baritone electric based on another reviewer stating it fit the instrument. It does fit, but not super great as there is a fair bit of wiggle. Luckily, there was a small plush lined block spacer in the case that I could wedge between the side of the guitar and the case. There's still some wiggle, but it's a much more acceptable amount. Also, the compartment is pretty small height wise. If you use a cloth strap it might not be too bad, but I have a 2.5" leather strap and I have to work a little to get it in there without it pushing up on the back of the guitar neck. It's not a bad case, but if I had to do it over again I would have probably went with a different option.
Music background: 20+ years of guitar
Tips over forward
It's a nice case, but it tends to want to tip over forward, so I need to make sure to keep it leaning far back when it's upright. It's probably the least stable hard case I've owned.
