Sound-shaping and more

The Rumble 200 combo's 4-band EQ helps to shape your sound, and the 3-button voicing palette sculpts the sound further. Choose between bright (adds a treble zing to the sound), contour (low-end boost), or vintage (classic bass tone with deep lows and vintage character). These give you a ton of flexibility to find your signature sound. The XLR line output can pump the tone you love straight into the PA for bigger gigs. This will make your sound tech happy, since it'll greatly simplify getting you pumped into the PA. Need a little extra teeth for a particular song or passage? The Rumble 200's built-in overdrive has your back. Get the optional footswitch for instant onstage convenience.

Rumbles are great!

This is my second Fender Rumble. I bought the 200 because it's lighter than my older 150 and I'm not getting any younger. I gig with this in bars and restaurants mostly and rarely turn it past 10 o'clock or so. It's plenty loud. I like a clean bass sound so I don't mess with effects much. This amp can produce some nice overdrive if you want it though. It's a wonderful practice amp too since it has an aux input and a headphone jack. I can practice late at night and not disturb anyone. At 34 lbs or so it's easy to carry one handed.

Good Stuff Here

I'm really pleased with this amp. It's well built but not heavy. Sounds tight and strong and plenty loud. Very happy with it.

Very impressed

This is a great sounding cab and the overdrive is sick! It's nice and loud despite the watt rating. Definitely excited to have this amp

Great Value Great Amp

What a value, Light weight, Lots of Head Room, LOUD, Great tone. I got this to replace a Sunn Beta Bass that I'd had for almost 20 years. While this doesn't have the parallel channels of the beloved Sunn, it makes up for it in weight and volume. I've had MANY bad experiences with Fender bass amps.So much so that the Fender name is a minus IMO. This is the first fender bass amp that I didn't feel like it was going to blow up after 3 songs. I tune to a low G and play 2 and 3 string chords with a pick; so I push a lot of air. From my experience Fender bass amps sounded better with guitar than bass. This one sounds good with both. Controls. bright - yuck -OFF shift - scoops out the tone -OFF "vintage" - some kind of bass exciter or something -OFF At first I was enamored by the "vintage" button. ooo.... nice LOW. Then I realized that there was a loss of "clarity" in a bad way, and I could get the same LOW by turning up the Bass tone knob. Gain Channel Great for guitar, blah for bass IMO. This is where the Sunn shined. you had one channel for fuzz, and a clean channel that ran parallel or individually. That allowed you to add in the clean bottom that the distortion takes away. With this you can have a good bass tone, OR a little dirt. I really like the gain channel for guitar, just the right amount of grit. This model also has a speaker jack. One of the main selling points, however Fender in all their "wisdom" does not make a matching extension cabinet. THANKS A LOT fender. This amp was the best based on the following criteria Price 15" speaker Wattage Weight Speaker Jack

Bought this amp so I could start playing and recording on my bass guitar, and it sounds phenomenal. You can modify exactly what you need with the knobs, giving you the sound you really want, and even the overdrive sounds good for both guitar and bass. It gives enough power for my bass to play in a real band. I have jammed with my buddies a few times and all of those experiences were great! Absolutely no complaints about this baby, it's got a stunning finish, and it's lighter than most bass amps, so it's easy to carry around for a gig or to jam. Definitely would recommend to others to buy if you want to start playing bass.
